How Long does a spray tan last?
On average, spray tans can last up to a week. The skin naturally exfoliates the top layer every week. As the skin naturally exfoliates, the tan fades. If you routinely workout or swim, your tan can fade a little sooner. The secret to making your tan last as long as possible is keeping your skin healthy and moisturized.

DHA:. Dihydroxyacetone, DHA, is the most commonly used active ingredient in most sunless tanning products and gives an even and natural tan. VersaSpa works with the worlds #1 supplier to have ECO certified DHA to ensure purity and quality.
Erythrulose: Often used in spray tan and self-tan products combined with DHA. Erythrulose takes longer to develop its full effect, which helps your tan last longer. VersaSpa products are formulated with Eco-Certified Erythrulose.
Dimethyl Isosorbide (DMI): DMI in sunless tanning products enhances the effect of the sunless tan. Sunless self-tan products are formulated with DMI.
Natural/Organic: VersaSpa products are formulated with naturally derived, Eco-Certified Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and Eco-Certified Erythrulose. Plus naturally-derived or organic Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sorbitol and other ingredients.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I do before stepping into the spray booth?
Once youre settled into the tanning room make sure to remove jewelry, put on a hair net and footies and apply barrier cream before stepping in the booth. Salon staff will provide you with everything you need, and we are happy to answer any questions.
What do I wear?
Plesently, our sessions are completely private. You may dress to your comfort level wearing a swim suit or tan completly nude.
What should I do after my session?
Allow four to six hours for the tan to fully develop before getting wet. heavy sweating, swimming, showering etc. Our products are non greesy and has little to no odor. You will be able to continue on with the day until it’s time to rinse the extra product off.
Do I need parental consent for a spray tan?
In the state of Wisconsin anyone under the age of 18 will be required to have a signed parental consent to treat form.
How does VersaSpa not turn skin orange and streaky!?
We use high quality products that are made with violet undertones instead of warm hues. This avoids the dreaded orange coloring other tanning products may cause. The automated directions guide you to four easy poses that give you an all over even tan.
What to avoid for a longer lasting tan?
If shaving, waxing and exfoliation are desired do so before the session. These things do slowly remove dry skin, or the top skin barrier. Chlorine will also cause a spray tan to fade very quickly because it is such a harsg chemical.
Can my child come to my session with me?
While we do offer services to all ages, we ask that minors not be left unattended in the lobby area. If a child is with an adult they will be asked to sit in on the tanning session with their parent or guardian.
